Joud is a lawyer at K&Co, sitting across the firm’s corporate and arbitration teams. She completed her LLB at the University of Reading and her LLM at the University of Law London, and is currently completing the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE).

Prior to joining K&Co., Joud gained international experience at Stephenson Harwood LLP in London, where she interned across residential and commercial real estate and private wealth management.

At K&Co., her practice spans contract drafting and negotiation, legal opinions, due diligence, and complex cross-border arbitration. She has been involved in high-value dispute resolution matters, including contributing to the successful conclusion of a significant arbitration settlement, and regularly advises clients on matters touching Omani law and international commercial practice.

She is also contributing to the development of two emerging areas of Omani law, working on the legal and regulatory framework that will govern Oman’s role in the space sector, and assisting in the redrafting of Oman’s animal welfare legislation. Both place her at the intersection of domestic law reform and evolving international standards.
