Al Khalili, Al Ghailani & Co. LLP was established in Muscat in 2018 by four founding partners with deep and varied experience across corporate law, litigation, banking and finance, and dispute resolution.
The firm advises local businesses, government entities and international clients on matters of consequence bringing to each the same rigour, discretion and attention that complex legal work demands.

The “&” at the centre of K&Co.’s identity is deliberate. It speaks to what the firm was built on partnership, collaboration, and the belief that the best legal work is never done alone.
When the founding partners established K&Co. in 2018, they set out to create something that did not yet exist in Oman: a law firm that was entirely Omani in its makeup, international in its standards, and genuinely collegiate in the way it works. That vision has shaped everything, from the culture of the office to the way the team approaches each matter.
K&Co. is staffed entirely by Omani lawyers. It is the first firm of its kind in the Sultanate. Each member of the team brings their own knowledge and perspective, and it is the combination of those voices, not any single one, that defines how the firm thinks and advises.
The team is young, driven and deeply invested in the development of the legal profession in Oman. That is not incidental to what K&Co. is. It is the point.

PARTNERS
K&Co. is the first law firm in the Sultanate of Oman to be founded by four collaborating Omani lawyers. Sultan Al Ghafri, Nasser Al Riyami, Mohammed Al Khalili and Maadh Al Ghailani came together with a shared purpose: to build a firm that would demonstrate, through its very structure, the value of collaboration in the practice of law.
Each of the four partners brings a distinct area of depth. Their expertise spans arbitration, litigation, dispute resolution, corporate law, and banking and finance a breadth that allows the firm to advise on matters of genuine complexity, and to do so from within a single, cohesive team. The partners are as invested in their people as they are in their clients. The development of K&Co.’s associates their growth, their judgment, their voice is treated as a leadership responsibility, not an afterthought. Since its establishment in 2018, K&Co. has grown into a recognised presence in the Omani legal market.
